Bulk Upload Info

Uploading multiple listings can be time-consuming and repetitive, especially when the listings are quite similar, like a batch of clothes or a collection of diecast models. ExSell’s Bulk Upload feature simplifies this process by allowing you to upload multiple listings using a single template, and then fine-tune details, such as the description, later on. Instead of seeing multiple “successfully uploaded” screens, you’ll only get one, saving you time and hassle.

Currently, the bulk upload is limited to eight listings at a time. For similar details across your listings, such as location, condition, delivery method, and even price, you can pre-set these details, making

How to Use Bulk Upload

1. Open your Profile Settings page:

2. Click the Bulk Upload tile, this will open your Bulk Upload Page.

3. On  the Bulk Upload Page, choose between Unique Details, Details Preset or Use Details Preset:

   • Unique Details: This option allows you to individually customize each listing and ignore any
     pre-set information.

   • Details Preset: Use this option to apply a template with pre-set details to multiple listings.

   • Use Details Preset: This option allows you to apply the pre-set details you entered in the Details Preset section to your listings. Even with pre-set details applied, you can still edit individual listing information as needed. (Note: This option will only appear once you’ve set up your pre-set details in the Details Preset section)

4. To add a listing to your bulk upload, select either Unique Details or Use Details Preset.

5. Choose whether you’re listing a single item or multiple items.

   • single item - Select this if you’re listing a one-time, unique item

   • multiple items - Choose this if you’re listing items that you have in multiples or batches.

6. Once selected, you’ll be taken to the Add Listings page, which has the same layout as the regular Upload Listings page. From here, you can enter all the required details for your listing.

7. When you’re done filling in your listing’s details, click Add Listing to add it to your bulk upload list.

8. You can repeat the process for the rest of your listings.

9. When you’re ready, press Upload (number of listings)/8 and wait for them to upload.

10. Congratulations all your listings are now successfully Uploaded to your account.

Please note: Bulk upload listings are stored locally on your device. If you clear the ExSell app's cache, your bulk upload listings may be deleted.

Details Preset Info

What Is “Details Preset”?

Details Preset is a quick and easy way to apply repetitive details to your listings. If you've ever seen social media posts about “uploading multiple listings in under 5 minutes,” this is how it’s done! For listings that share common attributes like location, condition, delivery method, or price, you can set up a template with pre-set details, which can then be applied to each listing during upload. (You can always edit the listing title and description after the upload if needed.)

How to Set Up a Preset in Bulk Upload

1. Inside Bulk Upload, select Details Preset.

2. Enter the common details for your listings, such as location or delivery method.

3. Click Confirm Preset.

4. Now, whenever you bulk upload, simply select Use Details Preset to apply your pre-set information to your listings.

Please note: Pre-set details are stored locally on your device. If you clear the ExSell app's cache, your pre-set details may be deleted.
